I am looking for a new home for my hamster Coco, preferably without young children. Coco is very sweet. I’ve done a lot of research on the ideal environment for a hamster. They need a fairly quiet environment, as loud noises stress them and high stress levels can be fatal for them. They also need large enclosures that they can tunnel and burrow in. The enclosure should not contain climbable walls (such as wire), as hamsters will climb if they are bored or stressed. Because of this, they can easily fall and get severely injured or killed.
My family and I have recently moved into a small cabin and it is too noisy with the ongoing renovations. Additionally, I no longer have the space to have a larger glass/wood enclosure for her.
