Joe is a very pretty, well made dun gelding with a full mane and tail. He stands 15.3 hands tall. Joe is very broke to ride, and a nice horse to be around. We have used Joe both in and out of the arena, where he has checked fence and pairs, been used for trail rides, & has ponied horses. Joe neck reins, has a smooth lope, & walks out nice. Janet is a beautifully built mare, 15.1 hh and close to 1200 pounds, with a big hip, wide chest, pretty head and neck and a ton of bone. She has been used on the ranch for all phases of ranch work, including roping and gathering cattle in the pasture, sorting pairs, and tagging and doctoring calves. Janet is gritty and tough, and will work all day long next to the geldings, with absolutely no quit in her. She is sound with no health issues, 15 years old but with the heart and athletic ability of a5 year old. Janet loves to work and to have a job. She is extremely cowy and excels in the sorting pen, and is strong to the horn and will pull anything you can rope. She is an excellent ranch horse but also is quiet enough to make a nice trail horse. She is a pleasure to ride out in the pasture, crosses water with no problem, and isn’t spooky. Janet has a super smooth trot you could sit to all day long, an excellent handle, will sidepass and work a gate. She travels out nicely in the pasture and is all business when you are on her back. All of his foals have good confirmation and excellent dispositions and nice small heads. He is gentle with the mares and runs on the pasture with the foals during breeding season.
