Summer is a sweet puppy. She is playful, funny, energetic, and kind. She is a black lab and golden retriever mix, and it shows in her personality! She gets along well with people, dogs, and cats, but cats don't usually want to play with her. She has not had much experience with children, but based on her various interactions with people we think she would do well.
She is house trained and will ring the jingle bells we hung up for her when she needs to go outside. Because of this, she has done very well in our apartment. She knows basic commands ("sit," "down," "no bite," "leave/drop it", "crate," "free"). We taught her to hold a command until we use our release command ("free" or "break"). She LOVES to play fetch and is actually quite good at it! She knows how to go on walks and has used a collar (as well as a harness) and has no issue with either. She does well when she is brushed and when her nails are trimmed.
Summer is up-to-date with all of her vaccinations and did receive a Lyme's disease vaccination because we took her on a few hikes and wanted to be safe. This extra vaccine does not need to be renewed if you would prefer not to. She was spayed when we adopted her in late August. We have all of her documents (from when we adopted her at a shelter to her most recent vet visit). We have supplies we haven't used yet such as flea and tick preventions.
