My son wanted a squirrel dog and I got him one. The puppy was 5 months old when I got him he is now 9 months old. He is a very good dog. The man I got him from had taken him hunting several times with his dogs and said he was showing really good potential to be a great squirrel dog. When I got him me nor my son knew much about training a squirrel dog but thought we would try. My son had worked with him several times with a live and dead squirrel and he has jumped and barked and chased it but we have not taken him in the woods.
