(Pending New Home)Beautiful ~ Extraordinary 3 Year Old Male Husky/Lab
Hi, my name is Buddy, Breed: Siberian Husky-Lab Hybrid (Designer Dog Breed) Gender: Male Age: 3 Years 3 ½ Years Old I am the best dog ever! I know this because my Mama tells me that every day! My mom got me on May 16th of 2019. Just after my birthday. My birthday is May 15th, 2016. I was a stranger to Minnesota. See, I got rescued from the flooding areas in Mississippi where I lost my family when I was only 2 years old. After being rescued I got brought here the Woodbury Humane Society. That is where my mom found me. She said she had been debating for a long time about getting a dog again, and she had been looking on and off for almost a year. When she happened upon my picture, she says that all she saw was my picture and didn’t even get to read anymore. She just said, I must go and get Buddy, he is the one! When she got to the Humane Society her friend had asked her if she wanted to look at some of the other dogs. Mom said “No! I have to find Buddy!” I was sitting in a cage all the way in the back when Mama rounded the corner and saw me. She got down on the floor and she said “Hi, Buddy!” I knew she loved me from that moment. She would not leave, asked her friend to get someone to help get me out of there. She said she had to pretend that she wasn’t sure and so she had to take me for a walk to make sure. So, that is what Mama did. She took me for a walk, and she gave me some loving. When she brought me back in, she told the woman helping her that she wanted to take me home. I was so excited I couldn’t sit even, my tail kept wagging and pushing me around. All my neighbor dogs barked at me as I walked by them. Well, okay… I tried to walk but… I kept running. When they got done getting me all set to go home with mom, I came out to see her and she was smiling, and she wanted to play with me. She told me it was meant to be! See, I have the same birthday and her brother who had died a long time ago, and he had a dog with the same name as me. So, she brought me home and I was scared at first. I had some anxiety because of the trauma with the flood and loosing my family. They call it separation anxiety. But Mama was patient with me, and she helped me through it all. Even though, I was stubborn at times. But eventually I learned that eating mom’s stuff when she went away was not the right thing to do. Mama kept up though and she taught me and showed me that she loves me and that she was coming back home again. Now, I don’t have to worry anymore, I have learned that people do come back. Mama said that I helped her too!!! She had gone through a divorce after many years and was all alone until she found me. So, she says that I am an amazing gift! I love snuggling with her and sometimes, I just want to lay down by her and put my head on her lap. She pets me a lot then. At night, most of the time I love to crawl up by her and snuggle with her. I am well mannered, but I also can get a little excited sometimes when I want to go out or if I want to play. My tail makes it hard for me to settle down sometimes when I want to go for walks. I do not bark really unless I sense something is wrong. But Mama has had to work so many hours that she is sad sometimes. When she comes home, she doesn’t get to spend as much time with me like she used to. I know she must work, and she wants what is best for me. She says that I should not be bored and must spend so much time alone. So, she is helping me to find a new home with someone who loves me as much as her. She hopes that I have space to run and family to play with. I especially am good with kids. I love them. My mom has 2 new grandchildren that I got to see and love. One moved to Las Vegas now. I would love to be able to spend time playing with some kids again and protect them. I am house trained! I am not ready to be off leash yet. But that is okay. I love playing with other dogs and making friends. Now, I do have a double coat and I shed a lot and Mama must vacuum a lot and brush me a lot. But she said that I am worth it. If you feel I am worth it too and would like to meet me, I would be excited to meet you. Just let my Mom know and she will make the arrangements to meet. She does need to ask for a re-homing fee though. But I am worth it, I think. she has all my paperwork and stuff from my vet so she can show you. It will only be $700.00 rehoming fee but, I am up to date on all of my shots, I am chipped so if I do happen to get lost, you will be able to find me. Also, keep in mind I am a designer breed, and I will make you happy and proud to be my new stepmom or dad. Thanks for reading my story and I hope to get to meet you soon!View Detail
1 year old Shiba Inu
serious inquiries only!!I am looking to rehome my 1 year old Shiba Inu, Ivy. She's very energetic and sweet, I just feel she needs a big yard to run in and someone who can give her the attention she needs. Preferably no cats, she likes to chase them. She is good with children and other dogs. She's 20 pounds and won't get much bigger. Updated on shots and spayed. Shiba Inus can be very expensive. We are only asking for what we paid for her. 800 for her and everything we got her will be included as well as vet records and adoption papers. We only want what's best for her. We love her very much and want her to go to someone that has the time and money to take care of her! I will NOT rehome her to someone without a yard. We would love to still be a part of Ivys' life every now and again if you are willing. Please email or text me if you are interested or have any questions. Thank you for lookingView Detail
