Brown Female Standard Poodle
Emerald was born on May 4th 2021. She is a very spirited lively girl with boundless energy and spunk. Unfortunately for me, it's a little too much spunk. She is headstrong and a challenge to me. She's registered ACA and you can register her as your own as I haven't gotten it done in my name yet. I don't have the energy to try and train her. I made the mistake of getting her and her brother at the same time. He's calm and easy going and she's quite the opposite. If she eventually has puppies she might mellow out and find her purpose in life. I don't want someone to buy her and breed her over and over again for profit. She needs a loving home with people who understand Standard poodles and how they are wired. She can be very feisty and we're trying to train her to not jump on people or nip at them. She plays very rough with her brother and she thinks she's supposed to interact with people the same way. Honestly I don't think she got the socialization she needed by her breeder and she doesn't know how to relate to people as a result. She'd be fabulous on a farm where she can run all day long and watch other animals and give assistance with keeping them in line. She's smart and she needs a job to do, preferably one that will wear her out at the end of the day. She's a rough and tumble tomboy who wears her brother out! She can be sweet and affectionate with a lot of patience and time with her. She's a big girl so it's akward to try and put her in your lap. But with time and patience she'll be able to calm down and relax. She's a handful but perfect for a person or a family. She's just not what I need. I'm disabled and needed a service animal and unfortunately she is not the right temperament for that task. So I am appealing to you if you have been looking for a reasonably priced standard poodle puppy and you are up for the challenge and commitment, then I introduce you to Miss Emerald. I hope you're the perfect match!View Detail
