Pure-bred Siberian girl neefs a new home
Aiko is a 7-year old Siberian female who needs a new home where she can get plenty of love and attention. She’s very affectionate and likes to be held and petted and is still playful. My son and I bought her from a breeder as a kitten. Our problem is that we already had a then 3-year-old male cat who was originally a stray. Carlo bonded very closely to me from the start and has never been happy about Aiko joining our household. They are both jealous of the other, and while Carlo has never accepted her, Aiko also goes out of her way to annoy him. We’ve tried everything possible to try to get them to tolerate each other with no success. When we lived in a large house, the situation was at least manageable. But since moving to a much smaller place a couple of years ago, it’s become much worse. Neither cat is happy at all and the tension between them is very stressful to me. Carlo goes outside while Aiko doesn’t so rather than stay in and be unhappy, Carlo has taken to spending more and more time outside, so as mot to have to deal with Aiko, even sleeping outside many nights, and being very mopey and depressed much of the time when inside. Whereas he used to sleep on my bed every night and often come to lie down with me any time I happened to take a nap during the day. At this point neither cat is able to get the live and attention they both deserve.View Detail
