Quarter Horse - Wes Chapman
Born: 2009 approximately. Wes was saved from slaughter in Texas before he was brought to California years ago. He deserves his own person, as he does not enjoy the inconsistency of lesson horse life. Breed: Quarter Horse Price: $2400 OBO, or trade for a safe/trustworthy, finished, lesson horse or pony Wesley is a (estimated) 2009, Buckskin Paint, Quarter Horse, Gelding. Wesley is currently available for sale or trade. He is broke to ride, LOVES little kids, and can ride both English and Western. Wes has dabbled in many disciplines including Gymnkhana, Jumping (has coursed around 2ft), English Pleasure, Western, Trails, Lessons, and more! He trailers, clips, ties, stands for the Ferrier, currently rides in a snaffle, is good with other horses, can go out alone or with a buddy, lunges, walks, trots, canters, and knows both of his leads. Wesley prefers having his one person rather than the variety of kids he gets in our lesson program. He deserves his own person, as he better enjoys his rides with a consistent person, rather than lessons. He is a pretty easy keeper. Currently barefoot, and on alfalfa & grass hay. If planning to use him for trails I would recommend some shoes for him, he can have sensitive feet on rocky ground. I would say Wes is not suited for beginners without a trainer's supervision, as he does have some quirks. His biggest vice is he gets buddy sour when he has to leave his friends. He needs a confident rider, sometimes he needs an extra nudge of confidence when he lacks it himself. Wes would ideally LOVE to be loved on by a child, and he does great with kids, especially in the arena. He would also make an excellent Pony Club horse!! He is generally more "woah" than go with consistent work. I would say he needs consistent work just because he can get hot if he sits for a long time. He has a great will to please, but sometimes needs a firm hand and leg to keep him on track. He can be "looky" on trails, but doesn't bolt, just stops and looks. Wes is a great horse, but just not quite what I need at this time. If you are interested in Wes, have any questions, want more info, or would like to see more pictures or videos, please text (714) xxx-xxxx. We are more than happy to answer any questions!View Detail

Started 4yr Old Aqha Bue Chocolate Brown
I have sat on her bareback with a halter on while she grazed. Last yr I brought her home from pasture, saddled her up, and got up on her for the first time. I only got on her twice that day, she was absolutely wonderful! She stood still as I got on both times, flexed both directions with the bit, and turned circles when asked. On the first ride it took a bit for her to understand the forward movement of riding and just stood still. After a few circles she finally walked out and let me guyed her with the direct reins all around the arena stopping and going when asked. During the second ride I even asked her to stop and back up before I got off. To my complete surprise she slowly took a couple steps back without issue! Other arena members even pulled in with their horses while I was out riding her. I let her stop to watch them as they unloaded. She talked back and forth to them a couple times. Once she got an eyes full I asked her to turn and walk away from them to continue our training session and she did so without hesitation. Later last yr I put her 4th ride on her. She did a low irritated lazy resistance buck when i very first asked her to trot out but once she was turned in a few circles to get her mind busy and forward movment going again she was great! (Top Video show's the end of this 4th training session). We worked on softening, flexing, backing, moving off pressure, walking, standing quiet, trotting, turning, trotting a circle, and even starting some starting foundation for reining and the spin. Iv had about 10 rides on her now but not much has been done recently, I just dont have the time to get her going and finished out like I originaly had planed. Last yr she's really started filling out nice and sprouting some height up on her. This filly has it all with her big soft doe eyes, small feminine face, and loving personality! (My equine dentist even asked me is she had some Arabian in her due to her "Baby Face" feachers. haha) Brains and beauty! I want her to go to a home where she can be fully finished out the right way. I realized after I rode her that I'm unfortunately just not going to have the time anymore that it will take to finish her out properly, and she's just way to nice of a horse with way to much potential to sit around for another several years until I find the time for her. Pictures and videos go from most recent to back when I first got her as a yearling. Her registered name is Baby Blues Zanzalena. (P.S~ IF the buyer chooses to I can expose her to my 51 1/2" (Large Standard) Red "roan"/Sabino Jack for a 2017 Mule foal. She is currently a Maiden mare and has Not been exposed to the Jack or any Stallions at this time if you want to buy her open.) .for more infor you can get back to me via email or text on (xxx) xxx-xxx0View Detail

11yr Old Cream Palomino Qh Gelding - $8500 Usd
Rides with or without spurs (I rarely ever ride with them). I have taken him to several fun shows and have done some open barrel racing off him. He needs some work to keep from sitting and spinning into the barrel. First owners ran him to the right first, I have been running him to the left first do to him being seemingly more responcive and quicker on his right turns. I don't know if he's ever done pole bending or not before I got him but his quick shouldering turns amazed me at the fun show pole bending! Like an ol pro. I'm his 3rd owner. He's rein broke and will ride loose rein outside of the arena (even after his run for cool off) but gets excited and a little hot in the arena. I recomend an experianced or advanced intermediate for him due to his excited fast paced spurts. No buck, kick, rear, bite, ect. Previous owners rode him with a tie down, short shank chain mouth combo bit with a chin strap. She said he was to hot for her to be a good ranch horse. I personaly think having his head so restricted and a strap pushing into his chin when the reins where pulled was causing the hot anxiety. I have been riding him without a tie down or chin strap. Just a regular dog bone snaffle bit and he's been calm and quiet for me, still turning on the heat when its time to run but breaks right back down into a walk. He's soft mouthed, has a light handle, turns on a dime, flexes, and backs bending at the poll when asked. He's ponied another horse as well as been ponied off of another horse. Kills me to put this guy up for sale but I don't have time to ride him and work with him like I need to. He hasent been rode much in the past year. Still putting weight back on from the winter. He's way to nice of a horse to just be sitting in my pasture. Loads and rides in a step up stalk trailer and a straight load two horse with a ramp. Price is firm. If you call and I don't answer please leave your name and number and ill give you a call back. .for more infor you can get back to me via email or text on (xxx) xxx-xxx0View Detail
